It is the mission of the VSFA Fire Cadet Academy to develop the confidence and self reliance of its participants, to promote a sense of both team cooperation and individual responsibility, to teach and develop basic fire fighting and emergency service skills, and to help build in young people a strong sense of the need for community involvement and support.

July 5th-July 11th, 2026
We are excited to announce that the 2026 Cadet Academy will be held at the Vermont Fire Academy from Sunday, July 5th to Saturday, July 11th. Drop off will be the morning of the 5th and graduation will be held on the afternoon of the 11th.
